Collagen can be microinjected into the skin or ReFirme and Matrix laser treatments can be used to stimulate the skin to make new collagen. Hyaluronic acid can also be microinjected in the skin. It adds volume and eliminates wrinkles. Common treatments are for nasolabial folds (wrinkles between your nose, mouth, and cheeks), marionette lines (wrinkles in the corners of your mouth), frown lines (wrinkles in the forehead), acne scars, and lip enhancement. We use Cosmoderm; a FDA approved natural collagen for fine lines. It typically lasts for 3 to 6 months. For deep wrinkles or to add volume, we use Juvederm a FDA approved natural hyaluronic acid. Results are immediate and typically last for 6 to 9 months. There is no down time for either of these fillers. You can immediately return to your daily activities.
